Nancy Genatt came to her first yoga class here at Soma Center seeking a stress management
tool and discovered that it offered so much more. The desire to understand more about the depth of yoga’s
potential as a healing art prompted her to enter a formal yoga teacher training program here at Soma Center
in 2001.
In addition to yoga, Nancy has studied movement and dance with teachers Daniel Leven and Gabrielle Roth and
enjoys both participating in and facilitating these rejuvenating, sweaty, and uninhibited dances. Because
of the growth and maturation Nancy has seen in herself, she is enthusiastic about sharing these transformative
practices. She feels that people of all experience and fitness levels can benefit from the combination of
physical challenge, emotional clarity and spiritual grounding that these practices provide.
Nancy brings creativity and humor into her teaching, and loves to incorporate fluid movement, breath awareness
and focused alignment into her yoga practice.

Darlene Rich began studying yoga as a part of her training at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts in NYC in 1975. She continued her studies through both of her pregnancies, giving natural home births to two beautifully healthy children, 1982 and 1986.
In the late 1980's into the 90's she studied with Alan Cohen, both Hatha Yoga and Meditation for Higher Consciousness. In 2003 Darlene discovered the Soma Center and began training with Bobbie.
Yoga offers a new way of life through personal and class practice of asana, pranayama and meditation. Teaching is a way of life for Darlene-a calling she is grateful to have discovered. She teaches High School Theatre and English in Edison. Yoga is taught in all levels of theatre classes and Darlene also teaches in Princeton as well as Edison, NJ.
She is honored to be a new teacher at the Soma Center this Fall.

Denise Trimble has worked in health care professions since 1995 when she received her B.S. in Occupational Therapy from Colorado State University. She then became Nationally Certified in Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork after completing a 600-hour massage training program at Health Choices Holistic Massage School in Belle Mead, NJ in 1999.
During her massage therapy training, Denise discovered, for the first time, the powerful effects of yoga practice. This led her to Soma Center where she completed a 10-month, 500-hour Yoga Teacher Training. The depth of study at Soma was a life altering experience, and Denise completed the program with more than a new “profession”; she also discovered a new, more mindful, accepting, peaceful, curious, healthy, and playful way of living in this world. Inspired to spread her enthusiasm for yoga to as many people as possible, she opened Inner Light Yoga Center in North Brunswick and was the owner and director there for over 2 years.
The desire to become a mother caused Denise to choose to sell the yoga center, and focus on family. She is now the proud Mommy of a beautiful little girl, and is grateful everyday for the philosophies of yoga to help her through the challenges of parenting.
Denise brings an extensive knowledge of human anatomy and physiology into her yoga classes. She teaches with compassion and enthusiasm, gently guiding students in exploring new possibilities and developing deeper awareness of their minds and bodies.
Denise also teaches anatomy for the Soma Yoga Teacher Training program.
